The ornamental flowering cherry Prunus ‘Cheal’s Weeping’ is an excellent small specimen tree which has branches that weep in a hardened and steep manner. In April the pale green are offset by clusters of pink buds which open to double flowers of rose pink – a soft, frothy confection of blossom that might go well with tubs of white tulips or shallow clay pans of blue scilla or muscari.
